1 L Milk Full Cream

100g Sugar

100 mls Cream

25g Crushed Pistachio Kernels

4-5 Saffron Strands

5g Organic Ground Caradmom (Elaichi)


Step 1

Bring the milk to boil in a heavy bottomed pan. Reduce it to half the quantity

Step 2

Add sugar, cream and boil until well combined. Add Saffron strands and cool it to room temperature.

Step 3

Once cold add ground cardamom

Step 4

Refrigerate the mixture for 2 to 4 hours. Process it through the ice cream maker with a gelato setting for half an hour. Add the crushed pistachio and process for another 15 minutes.

Step 5

Store in air tight containers and freeze it for 4-6 hours

Step 6

Scoop in dessert bowls and serve with Bhodro Chai
