Cinnamon Pineapple Chutney

480g One can of Pineapple pieces in juice

200g Brown Sugar

5g Organic Cinnamon powder (Dalchini)

A pinch of Salt

2 tbsp Lemon juice


Step 1

Drain the pineapple pieces

Step 2

In a pan mix pineapple pieces and brown sugar on medium heat. Stir constantly. Cook until the sugar dissolves. Reduce heat and keep stirring. Add a pinch of salt and reduce it completely.

Step 3

Take it off the flame Add lemon juice. Mix well and add Cinnamon powder. Store it in sterilised jars.

Step 4

Serve it as an accompaniment or top it on ice creams
