Murg Makhani / Butter Chicken

Cooking oil 100 mls
Bay leaves 2
Whole Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Whole dry red Chilly 2
Diced onion 250 g
Ginger paste 1 tbsp
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Tomato puree 600 mls
Sugar 50 g
Salt To taste
Chilli powder To taste
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Dried Fenugreek leaves 1 tsp
Butter 150 g
Thickened cream 600 mls
Chopped fresh Coriander leaves for garnish.

Cook Chicken Tikka according to Bhodro recipe. In a pan add oil, add cumin seeds and whole chilly. Add diced onions, ginger & garlic paste, saute well. To this add tomato puree, butter, salt, sugar & chilly powder. Cook the mixture on reduced heat for 10 mins. Add cream and cook for further 2 mins Add the grilled chicken pieces and cook together until the chicken is fully cooked. Season with Garam masala and dried Fenugreek leaves. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves Serve with warm Basmati rice
